Billing

Yes. Change your plan from account settings whenever you like. You keep your current tier's features through the end of the period you already paid for.

Nothing switches on automatically. Going past your plan's simultaneous-destination cap opens an upgrade prompt that names the limit, so you decide before anything changes.

Yes. Moving to a higher tier partway through a billing period only charges you for the days remaining, not a full new cycle.

It is. Two simultaneous destinations, no time limit on how long you stream, with a small CastFork mark on the output. No card required to start.

Plans and limits

Match it to how many destinations you run at once, not how often you stream. Standard covers 3 at a time, Professional 5, and Business 8.

No. Passthrough ingest is 4K, 2160p, on every tier including Free. Paid tiers add more destinations, recording length, and Studio output resolution, not a sharper encode.

Any platform or custom RTMP target you've toggled on for a stream: YouTube, a client's channel, a friend's account, or your own RTMP endpoint all count the same way.

Not yet. Guests can join a Studio broadcast on-screen, but letting a guest attach their own destination channel to the shared stream is on our roadmap, not available today.

Streaming and Studio

Not yet — team seats are coming soon. Every account is single-user today (no invite flow), so there's nothing to add a second seat to right now. We'll turn on per-seat billing once that ships.

The live health monitor flags a drop the moment it happens, and CastFork keeps retrying each destination while the rest of your broadcast stays live. If your own primary connection drops, the session ends the way it would on almost any streaming platform — a backup/failover feed that keeps you live through that is on our roadmap, not shipped yet.
